As anticipation builds for the upcoming IPL 2025 season, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain Rishabh Pant has captured attention and admiration with his inspiring comments ahead of their first match against the Delhi Capitals, a franchise he previously led. Scheduled to take place on March 24 at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, the match marks a significant start for Pant in his new leadership role.

Reflecting on LSG’s past performances, the team reached the playoffs in IPL 2022 and 2023 but exited in the Eliminator stage on both occasions. In 2024, they finished seventh in the points standings. Pant, who became the most expensive player in IPL history after being acquired by LSG for INR 27 crore during last year’s mega auction, is now set to steer his team to new heights.
