**ROHIT SHARMA UNVEILS HIS ODIs FUTURE: ‘NOT RETIRING’**

Rohit Sharma has decisively quelled recent speculation surrounding his future in One Day Internationals (ODIs). Following India’s victorious campaign in the Champions Trophy against New Zealand at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Rohit unequivocally stated during a press conference, “I want to clarify that I am not going anywhere, I am not retiring from this format,” reaffirming his commitment to the ODI format.

Rohit, who has led India to four ICC trophy finals, securing two titles, took a proactive stance in addressing rumors, stating, “I’m not going to retire from this format, just to make sure that no rumours are spread moving forward.” This declaration was more of a proactive announcement than a reactionary response, displaying his desire to dispel any misunderstandings about his career’s direction.

During the media briefing, Rohit partially responded to a query in Hindi, hinting at his continued engagement with the game: “Future plan? There is no future plan. What is going on, will continue.” This indicates that his passion and hunger for the sport remain undiminished.

Speculation also swirled around Virat Kohli’s status, although Kohli has performed commendably in the Champions Trophy, amassing 218 runs including a century across five matches, similar to Rohit, Kohli had also retired from the T20 format in Barbados.
